Meet the dedicated volunteer coaches who guide player development, build confidence, and help athletes grow on and off the field.

RACHEL SULLIVAN
Coach Rachel has been the head coach of Rampart Girls Lacrosse since 2025. She played and graduated from Liberty High School and continued her lacrosse career playing at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. Her specialties include attack, midfield, and draw control.
KELLY DANIELS
Coach Kelly has been coaching in Colorado Springs since 2015. She served as Palmer and District 11’s Head Coach from 2017 to 2025, and joined the Rampart Staff as an Assistant Coach in 2026. She graduated from Adams State University where she played both basketball and lacrosse. Her specialties are defense and transition.
She knew she wanted to be a coach when she experienced having an abusive coach – she wants to give girls an experience totally opposite of what she had and help young women grow with confidence and a voice.
In her free time, she loves to watch People’s Court while playing video games with her husband. She loves to camp, ski, hike, backpack, and travel and has finished 38 of Colorado’s 14ers. She’s also way too obsessed with live music and spends most of her paycheck going to shows.
Outside of coaching, Coach Kelly worked in radio for 12 years, leaving the field in 2026. She now works for a Non Profit organization helping kids and young adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
DO NOT ask what her favorite sport is – she has a difficult time choosing – skiing or lacrosse?!
HOT TAKE: Yellow Starbursts are the best!

TROY CRAIG
Coach Troy is a USA Lacrosse Platinum Certified Coach and an assistant girls’ lacrosse coach at Rampart High School, specializing in goalie development and foundational drills. First introduced to the sport as a high school junior, he began volunteering for a local lacrosse program in 2023 before joining the Rampart staff. Because he picked up the game later in his youth, Coach Troy knows firsthand that an athlete can start a sport late and still excel. This experience makes him uniquely passionate about helping players new to the game learn to love the sport and build confidence. His coaching philosophy centers on meeting athletes exactly where they are, rather than forcing them into a one-size-fits-all mold. Guided by a favorite quote from Epictetusโ”It’s not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters”โCoach Troy encourages athletes to embrace their mistakes as a starting point for growth and to compare themselves only to their previous day’s performance.
โBefore stepping back onto the lacrosse sidelines, Troy spent 20 years pushing his own physical boundaries in endurance sportsโincluding marathons, 24-hour relay runs, and countless triathlonsโultimately achieving his dream of becoming an Ironman triathlete. He uses this background to help athletes respect their unique capabilities and learn to listen to their bodies. A Navy veteran and retired Sheriff’s Sergeant, he also brings a lifetime of trusted mentorship and service to the Atmos Lacrosse family. His favorite role in law enforcement was serving as a School Resource Officer, where he specialized in showing young people that they are capable of achieving far more than they realize. Central to Troy’s life and coaching is his belief in a strong foundation; his own family serves as his ultimate support system. Married for 36 years, his favorite place to be when he isn’t helping athletes build confidence on the sidelines is spending time with his wife, their five children, and their four grandchildren.
Atmos Lacrosse is built upon 100% volunteer coaches who are dedicated to growing girls lacrosse in Southern Colorado. We try our hardest to make it affordable for everyone. We never want money to stop an athlete from playing the sport they love.
